Sharice Davids Announces Panel on the Influence
of Special Interest Money in Politics
Sharice Davids will host a panel discussion on the role that special interest money plays in our political system. Davids’ congressional opponent, Kevin Yoder, has taken millions in contributions from special interests such as insurance companies, payday lenders, and Wall Street banks then repeatedly voted on their behalf. By contrast, Davids raised more than $2.7 million dollars in Q3 with an average contribution of $35. 93 percent of her support has come from individual donors compared to Yoder's 1 percent.
